Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 6, 2026
This policy covers the PaceBib iPhone app and the Marathon Pace website. Their data practices are described separately below.
PaceBib iPhone app
PaceBib calculates running paces on your device. It has no account system, advertising, tracking, or third-party analytics. We do not receive your calculator inputs, birth date, BQ category, or usage history from the app.
Race settings, units, haptic preferences, converter settings, and an optional birth date and BQ category are saved in local app storage. The BQ profile is used only to calculate your age-group qualifying standard. You can remove it with “Clear BQ Profile” in Settings. Removing the app removes its local data; copies may remain in backups managed through your Apple device or iCloud settings.
Pace-band images are generated on your device. You choose whether to save them to Photos or share them through the system share sheet. PaceBib does not read your photo library or upload these images to us. A service you choose to share with handles the image under its own terms.
Opening website, privacy, or feedback links leaves the offline calculator and contacts the destination service. That service may process your IP address and other standard web request data. GitHub feedback issues are public; do not include your birth date or other sensitive information in an issue.
